This digital rheometer operates on eleven 18650 lithium batteries. During viscosity measurement, as the outer cylinder rotates at a preset speed, the fluid generates viscous resistance, allowing its viscosity to be determined.

During the measurement, the outer cylinder rotates at a preset speed, and the fluid generates viscous resistance. This resistance translates into a torque acting on the suspended rotor, which is connected to a precision spring. The spring’s torsion produces a deflection that can be measured, and by comparing it with the test conditions and the instrument’s constants, the fluid’s viscosity is determined.
