Product Description
CHP ULTRA MAX is an upgraded version of CHP ULTRA. CHP ULTRA MAX (powder form) is a readily dispersible polymer additive designed to provide cuttings encapsulation and shale stabilization in drilling fluids ranging from freshwater to saltwater, and from low-solids to weighted muds. It has stronger resistance to salt and calcium-magnesium ions (high mineralization), making it suitable for highly mineralized environments. CHP ULTRA MAX also acts as a viscosifier and friction reducer while providing some fluid-loss control.

- Stable in monovalent salt (NaCl, KCl, etc.) environment.

Applications:
- Improves shale stabilization,
- Enhances removal of drill solids,
- Readily dispersible and does not form “fish eyes”,
- Excellent cuttings encapsulation limits cuttings dispersion,
- Can be used to viscosify clear-water and low-solids drilling fluids,
- Helps prevent balling on the bit, stabilizers and bottom hole assembly by coating and lubricating solids.
Recommended Treatment:
Add CHP ULTRA MAX in concentration of 0.2 to 1.0 kg/m³ to any active system. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.
